In today’s class, we were going to present to the lecturers our business plan that we were told to do some weeks ago.
Many of which were quite well done, some not as much though.
Ours was the business plan made for “Micin” (Mini Cinema). Quite simply, A cinema but in the form of a Karaoke.
To elaborate deeper into what kind of business we were, we simply provided movies and a very comfortable, private room with some pretty damn good quality sound systems and a big-ass TV for people to watch. They choose what movie they wanna watch, be it the latest blockbuster movie to come out or some old romance b-flick. They pay by the movie and the people who come in are preferably groups of friends or family. We have different kinds of rooms, differentiated by the amount of people it can hold, and we also have a cafe for all your food & beverage needs.
However, our business plan was still quite flawed. For one, our revenue stream is weak. We didn’t account for the fact that licensing films would be expensive, meaning that we would have a low profit margin. Our finances were not exactly in order either so we also need to fix that if we plan on using this business plan for our finals.
Not much else has happened. The same pretty much happened to every other group in the class. They come in, they present their business plan for ten minutes or less, and their plan gets deconstructed with the flaws in the plan pointed out for them to fix.
