Theme parks was a trend in the beginning of the 2000s in Indonesia.
Leisure Economy era, the era in which most of what supported the economy was businesses related to Leisure
Why Leisure business and why Theme Parks? Because they’re pretty cool, they’re for all ages and they’re pretty big in the Leisure Business.
And somehow we’re going into a lesson about economy, demographics and unemployment.
Moving onto some proof that food and beverage followed by leisure businesses are the industries that are among the fastest growing industries in Indonesia right now. As it’s been told many times in my history of being in the hospitality major.
Of the successful theme parks in Indonesia, one is Trans Studio Bandung and Makasar. They’re indoor theme parks that are pretty famous because of how entertaining they are to their customers. They’re among the biggest indoor theme parks in the world.
Strategic Business Unit was what helped Trans Studio get where it is today. Strategic Business Unit is a strategy used by businesses to help themselves get higher with the help of other businesses they have partnerships or are in the same big corporation with. Trans was originally a media company that is branching out to other industries, and this was one of them.
